The Research Council of Lithuania National Contact Points (NCP), in collaboration with the Embassy of Lithuania to Norway and the NCP team of the Research Council of Norway, are pleased to invite you to the brokerage event “Fostering Research & Innovation Partnerships: Lithuania–Norway Collaboration in Bioeconomy and Biotechnology under Horizon Europe.”
This event is designed to strengthen international cooperation among researchers, innovators, academic institutions, organisations, and businesses. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange expertise, address societal challenges, and explore cooperation in cutting-edge research areas within bioeconomy and biotechnology.
The event will focus on thematic areas under Horizon Europe Cluster 6 “Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment” (the draft Work Programme 2026–2027 is available on the Comitology Register) and the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) (the CBE JU Work Programme 2026 is expected in late December 2025).

During the event, participants will explore potential partnerships and project interests for upcoming Horizon Europe calls in the following thematic areas:

- Applying Biotechnology for Environmental Recovery
- Agriculture and Food Innovation for a Sustainable Bioeconomy

Participants will also have the opportunity to briefly present their project interests and areas of expertise. A presentation template will be made available shortly.
